21/12 7:00pm >末日留念@天安门城楼 — Photo Shooting on Doomsday @ Tiananmen Gate 世界末日这一天，你是要等死，还是要绝处逢生？赶快计入我们的骑行大队。7点在Natooke集合，7点半从Natooke出发，一起骑车到天安门城楼。我们合影留念，记录下世界末日这一天。大家在一起不会再有恐惧，如果我们熬过了末日，在以后的某一天每个人都会收到一份惊喜。当我们老去，这份美好的回忆会沉淀在我们的内心。合完影我们去刷长安街，一起骑到西单。休息片刻，自由活动，忘记末日，迎接新的美好明天。 What are you doing on the day the world ends? Will you be sitting around waiting for death or resurrection? How about joining us on a night ride to Tiananmen Gate to take some photos? After this, we will ride along Changan Boulevard and head for Xidan. Everyone will receive a big surprise later. We meet up at Natooke at 7:00pm and set out at 7:30pm.

22/12 10:30am > “铁驴”维修专题讲座—传动系统@ NATOOKE — The Iron Horse Seminars—Drivetrain @ Natooke 本周六上午10点半照常举行“铁驴”维修专题讲座。本期课题是传动系统。最好带上自己的爱车。关于牙盘、曲柄、链条、齿轮、锁环等部分的任何问题，都可以问我们的乱炖老师，他人很好。讲座之后我们会开启一个试验项目“开放工作营”。每次的开放时间大约为一个小时。欢迎更多的自行车爱好者们来到Natooke，亲自检查自己的车子，亲自维修或更换零部件。如果你是初学者又或是对自行车很感兴趣，那么也欢迎你来，我们会提供给你工具亲自上手练习练习。希望大家在这里度过一个很开心、很充实的周末。 Again Natooke continues the Iron Horse Seminars this Saturday morning. This time the topic will be drivetrain. It is better for you to come with your own bike. Any question about the chainring, the crankset, the chain, the cog or the lockring, you can ask Brandon who is a very nice teacher. After the seminar, we will start a new activity named “Open Workshop” for about one hour. We welcome more and more cycling-lovers come to Natooke and check your own bikes, repair or change any broken bike parts by yourself. If you are a beginner and you don’t know your bike very well but you are really interested in it, then you are very welcomed to join. We provide you the tools you need. 15/12 10:30am > “铁驴”维修专题讲座—舵向系统 @ NATOOKE – IRON HORSE SEMINARS—Cockpit @ Natooke 好消息：Natooke本周六早10点半的“铁驴”维修专题讲座照常进行。本期话题是舵向系统，涉及到的几个部分是车把、把立、车闸、碗组等。乱炖老师将会教给大家如何调整车把、如何调把立松紧、如何更换或修理车闸、碗组。大家都有机会亲自练练手。本期讲座会非常精彩，欢迎大家来Natooke听课。 The good news is that Natooke continues an Iron Horse Seminar this Saturday at 10:30am on the morning. The topic will be cockpit. It will involve in several parts, such as handlebars, stem, brake and headset. During the seminar, Brandon will teach you how to adjust your handlebar, how to adjust the tightness of the stem, how to repair or change your break and how to change your headset. Everyone has the chance to try your hands at these skills. It will be an awesome seminar. Come and join in Natooke!

This Saturday the first round of 2012/2013 JISU PK winter series will start at Serk Bar. Two contestants challenge each other by rolling your pedal fast within 30 seconds. 16/12 2pm > 自行车马球 @工人体育馆西门 BIKE POLO @ Worker’s Gymnasium West Gate 周日下午2点照常打自行车马球。 气温下降不会阻止我们运动的热情。它是一项跟队友们一起合作完成的运动，需要我们全身动起来，如果你不想在冷天儿骑自行车的话，那么参加自行车马球会是一个很不错的运动机会。 Sunday starting at 14:00 we play bike polo – no matter the temperature or if there will be snow. Bike polo is a team game and you need to move your whole body in the game. It is a good exercise choice even in the cold winter.

Nestled down in Beijing’s Wudaoying Hutong, not far from the Lama Temple and the Temple of Confucius, is China’s first juggling shop and fixed gear bike shop, Natooke. Founded in 2009 by Ines Brunn and Federico Moro, this shop offers both locals and travelers juggling props and custom made fixed gear bicycles. 6/12  8pm > 巨脏“圣诞老人”骑行活动 @ NATOOKE – BIG DIRTY SANTA COSTUME RIDE @ Natooke 很久以前，公元4世纪，在小亚西亚有一位好心的主教，他的名字叫尼古拉斯。12月6日这一天是圣尼古拉斯节。荷兰人在12月6日这天模仿他给孩子们送礼物。此次的圣诞老人骑行活动像往常一样在晚上进行，天气寒冷，请大家穿的暖和一些。当晚，每一位骑行者都穿着圣诞老人的衣服，于是，北京一下子出现了很多位骑着单车的圣诞老人。想象一下我们的车队排开在大街小巷，车灯一路上闪闪发光，保证了安全的同时也是一道亮丽的风景。(晚8点从Natooke出发) December 6th is St. Nicholas Day, a day to honor a kind bishop named Nicholas living in Minor Asia in 4th century. The Dutch imitate him to give gifts to children on December 6th every year. Nicholas costume is similar to Santa Claus costume. Tonight, the Big Dirty Santa Costume Ride will happen. Wear a Santa Claus costume (if possible, or something else related) and ride. We look forward to many cycling Santa Clauses in Beijing. This colorful bike group with sparkling lights will be a splendid scenery at night. We will ride together leisurely and have great fun. Meet up at Natooke shop and we will leave together at 8pm.

8/12  10:30am > “铁驴”维修专题讲座 @ NATOOKE – IRON HORSE SEMINARS @ Natooke 本周六早上10点半在Natooke商店，我们会安排由乱炖老师主讲的自行车维修讲座。与以往不同的是，本次讲座没有预先设定主题。等大家来了以后，主题由大家来决定。无论你是想学习如何维修或是想学习如何对自己的自行车进行日常的保养，都可以提出来。针对所有的问题，乱炖老师都会耐心地给大家做出详细的解答，同时，进行现场操作示范。到时候，大家都有机会亲自动手，在乱炖老师的指导下进行练习，每个人都会有收获。 温馨提示：这节课可能是新年前的最后一次课。 快快来参加吧，惊喜等着你！ Natooke is hosting again an Iron Horse Seminar this Saturday at 10:30am on the morning. The difference is that we won’t set a topic in advance this time. The topic will be decided by the participants after their arrival that day. You can ask questions concerning whatever you want to learn (how to repair the bike or how to performance the regular maintenance against the full bike or the bike parts). With the on-site demonstration, Brandon will give you a detailed answer for all your questions. In the meantime, everyone has the chance to practice their skills during the seminar, and we hope everyone will learn something. Reminder: It might be the last seminar before the New Year. 死飞小革命活动圆满结束 MINI FIXED GEAR REVOLUTION

11月24日，北京天气晴朗、风和日丽。死飞爱好者们早上在Natooke商店集合，伊泉带队，40多人一起骑车到798艺术区的751火车头与其它的死飞朋友们会合。大家一起骑车到达了朗朗艺术空间。自行车马球、点球大战、定杆、快速换内胎、小人车接力、选美等各项比赛都顺利进行。伊泉的表演和Natooke版江南style使整个活动达到沸点。 本次活动持续了大约5个小时。最后，所有获奖的选手都拿到了Natooke 和赞助商们提供的奖品。Natooke首届死飞小革命活动于11月24日圆满结束。更多详情请点击

It was a sunny day in Beijing on November 24th. The fixed gear fans and cycling lovers met up at Natooke, and then led by Ines headed for 798 Art District where the other group of cyclists were waiting for them. The two big groups rode together to Long Long Art Space happily on colorful bikes. Bike polo match, shoot out competition, track stand competition, inner tube changing, child bike race, and beauty competition went ahead smoothly. Every participant joined the games actively and happily. The bike tricks by Ines and the “Natooke Gangnam Style” gave us an amazing impression. The winners and the other participants received the prizes by the sponsors (Fendor Bendor, Ribcap, Donen, Freedom, ABUS and Crumpler). 2012年高雄自行车马球赛 Takao Bike Polo Cup 2012

今年Natooke派出了三组队员参加这次的台湾自行马球赛。日本队摘得第一名。他们向大家展示了非常令人钦佩的自行车马球技术。Natooke两个男子组都进入了决赛。北京这一组男队员表现很好，取得了第五名的成绩；成都这一组男队员表现也很好，他们取得了第七名。 Natooke的女队员们表现的不是那么好，主要原因是她们从来没有在一起配合过。我们已经计划来年再战！

This year Natooke had 3 teams participate in the bike polo cup in Taiwan. First place went to the Japanese team who showed us very impressive bike polo skills. Both Natooke men teams made it into the finals. Natooke Beijing men team played well and came in on 5th place. The Natooke Chengdu team also played very well and came in on 7th place. The Natooke girls team did not play so well but mainly due to the fact that these girls had never played together. We are already planning on going there again next year.

最近几天，我们对Natooke商店内部进行了重新布置与装修。我们把原来很长的货柜挪了地方，又把两面墙上安装了白色的墙板。这样就誊出更多的空间，方便我们的顾客挑选零件配车。在墙板上我们陈列出了不同种类的小零件和工具，方便顾客自己挑选，比如：防污染面具、多功能折叠工具组、车灯、车表、把套/把带等等。我们希望大家在Natooke商店里觉得很舒服。另外，一批多彩的、可爱的街头运动头盔也来了，很亮眼。欢迎大家来店里看看吧。

Recently we redecorated our Natooke shop. There more larger space after moving the place of the large cabinet and installing wooden wallboards. Now it is even more convenient for our customers to pick out the bike parts for their own designed bikes. Moreover, it is alos easier to find some bike accessories hanging on the white tidy wallboard, such as anti-pollution masks, multifunctional folding tools, cycle computers, bike lights, grips and handlebar tape…. 从台北骑到高雄 Ride from Taipei to Kaohsiung

杰克、拉里、夏洛特和伊泉计划骑着他们的死飞自行车在两天之内从台北骑到高雄。但实际上台北下着雨，天气预报也说在第一段行程路段（从台北到台中）会有雨，因此我们取消了那段骑行行程，决定只是从台中骑到高雄。尽管预报说是多云转晴的天气，但事实上我们是在雨中骑行了将近220公里。我们选择了一条平地路线，这样在潮湿的天气下使得骑行较容易一些，即使这样，我们也用了将近11个小时。

Jake, Larry, Charlotte and Ines planned to ride their fixed gear bikes from Taipei to Kaohsiung in 2 days. But actually it was raining a lot in Taipei and the forecast also had rain for the first part so we canceled that part and decided to only cycle from Taichung to Kaohsiung. Despite the forecast saying cloudy/sunny we actually cycled most of the 220km in rain. We chose a flat route and cycled easily in the wet weather for almost 11 hours.

ww.Mini Fixed Gear Revolution 2012 １１月２４日，北京风和日丽，是个适宜户外活动的好天气。首届“死飞小革命”如期举行。好天气带来好心情。这一天的上午，许多死飞爱好者在Natooke商店集合，由伊泉带队，40多人一起骑着多彩的车子一路上开开心、享受着蓝天白云。798会和点的朋友们一边吃着煎饼一边等待着从市中心赶来的这支骑行队伍。两队在这里会和之后一起前往朗朗艺术空间。 比赛活动从下午１点半左右开始。NATOOKE团队提前到场来布置场地。大约下午12点半，不少参赛者也陆续赶来，现场顿时热闹起来。 入口处是我们Natooke绿香蕉迎宾大使，她走来走去热情地接待每位来客。

爽朗的笑声传递出温暖与快乐。 整场的活动持续了大约5个小时，从自行车马球、点球大战、定杆、快速换胎、小人车接力、一直到选美比赛，整个过程大家都积极参与其中，让我们用文字和影像将这些开心的时刻都记录下来。       最激动的瞬间 自行车马球类似于马球。 两组队伍中各有三名选手，他们骑着自行车，手握着球杆击球向对方球门射门。马球赛历时一个小时，过程中你会感受到队员们奋力挥杆的执着；你会听到自行车相互碰撞的声音；你会看到一些队员摔倒了然后笑着起来，继续作战。一次次进球之后想起的掌声和欢笑声充满整个会场。比赛结束时，7组选手经过6轮激烈的比拼，最终产生了冠军队。    最炫动的瞬间 自行车点球大战像足球里的点球，不同的是选手们需要先做Skid，然后用后轮击球射门。多彩的车轮摆动起来轮番上阵，球门前的橘色小球显得格外亮眼。每位选手都有自己独特的方式去用后轮击球。    最安静的瞬间 定杆比赛开始，整个会场顿时安静下来。大家都屏住呼吸。选手们在车子上保持平衡、保证车子牢牢抓地、不能移动，同时，变换动作，从双手、单手、无手到单脚。四个动作都坚持下来的选手还进行了一分钟的花式定杆表演。获奖者从坚持到最后的这些选手中选出来。

最牵动人心的瞬间 快速换内胎比赛进程中，每位选手都以最快的速度，聚精会神地一步步地展开各项任务。有的很顺利，有的则会遇到麻烦。（内胎被挤在外胎下边儿了；链拧成团儿，怎么也抻不开了；都做完了，只剩下打气，可气筒该怎么用呢，不知道了）。再来瞧这位身着酷似黑猫服饰的唯一一名女选手。手劲儿还不小，她非常耐心地把外胎从车圈上一点点掰出来。虽然最后超时，但是精神可佳 

最有趣的间 三人随机配组儿童车接力赛。大人们腿长，坐到小小的儿童车上，腿得使劲儿蜷着， 个身子也得缩起来。小小的脚踏怎么够大脚踩，加上是接力赛，还得快速踩踏，于是，各式各样的骑姿出现了，围观的人不停地捧腹大笑。

最缤纷的瞬间 最后一项比赛时人&车选美赛。那个时刻，选手们带着各自的爱车站成一排排顺序出场。人是模特，车子也是模特。不同的色彩，不同的POSE,构成一个缤纷的舞台。选手们都那么自信、那么阳光

最开心的瞬间 所有比赛结束后是自行车特技表演。表演者是伊泉。每个动作都很漂亮，令人惊叹，更令人感动。随后，江南style音乐响起，Natooke团队给大家演绎了Natooke版本的江南style。大家一起跳舞，像是一个派对的狂欢，很开心、很放松。

颁奖时刻 在自行车马球比赛中，冠军队的三名队员拿到了荷兰Fendor Bendor 挡泥板。在点球大战中，两名获奖者分别拿到了Toyo花鼓和Donen骑行服。在定杆比赛中，最佳男女定杆及最佳创意定杆获得者分别拿到了瑞士Ribcap头盔帽、Respro防污染面具、Donen骑行服。在快速换内胎比赛中，三名获奖者拿到了美国Freedom轮胎。在小人车接力赛比赛中，获胜队的三名选手分别拿到了ABUS U-mini 锁。在选美比赛中，获奖选手分别拿到了澳洲Crumpler邮差包。

大家在一起高高兴兴地过了一个下午，然后一起骑车回家。都在期待Natooke下次组织的活动。 那我们就下次“死飞革命”见了！

It was a beautiful luminous day in Beijing on November 24th and the weather was perfect for an outdoor activity. This was the first day the Mini Fixed Gear Revolution begun; the good weather seemed to make us all feel happy and comfortable. In the morning a lot of fixed gear fans and cycling lovers from diverse places met at the Natooke shop, it was a big group of over 40 happy people on colorful bikes led by Ines. We all cycled leisurely in the morning sun enjoying the clear blue skies. At the 798 art district even more fixed gear riders and friends were enjoying Jianbing and tofu snacks while waiting for the group from the city center. Together the cyclists headed for Long Long Art Space. Team Natooke had arrived at the venue early for the preparation work and at around 12:30pm the cyclists started arriving one after another, and suddenly it became a busy and happy location to be at. Our Natooke cute green banana mascot was at the entrance, walking here there and everywhere welcoming guests happily with a smile, the friendly laughter helped spread the happiness to everyone. The Mini Fixed Gear Revolution lasted about five hours with everyone actively participating in the various fun game, It was a very successful day and a very joyful day for everyone involved.

The Exciting Moment

Bike polo is like horse polo: Two teams of three play against each other each riding their bicycle and using a mallet to hit the ball into the goal. During the Mini Fixed Gear Revolution bike polo games, you could see the passion from each swing of the mallet, you could hear the sound of bikes colliding with each other and as players fell they would immediately get back up to return to battle. The applause and laughter filled the site after each and every goal or even attempted goal. After six rounds of exciting matches the champion was found!

The Shining Moment

Like in soccer we did a penalty shooting game: The ball was placed in front of the goal and each player had to shoot the ball into the goal, the only difference being is that they had to do a skid and hit the ball with their back tire. The colorful wheels swung around to try and hit the ball in the right direction one by one. Meanwhile, the orange ball was so eye-catching, whilst waiting for the wheels to strike before a goal could be scored. Each participant had their own creative way to hit the ball.

The Quite Moment

The crowd became hushed immediately when the track stand competition begun and everyone held their breath. Keeping balance, the players sat on the saddle and made sure that the bike did not move, meanwhile, they changed the tricks during the process from normal track stand to no handed or even single footed track stand. The finalist showed us their most impressive kind of track stands of which the winners was then decided upon.

The Heart Pumping Moment

During the inner tube changing contest, all players focused on tasks with a step by step approach trying to be the one with the fastest speed. Some of them could change the inner tube smoothly while some of them encountered trouble by pinching the tube below the tire or throwing the chain and having it lumped up or not knowing how to use the pump. Due to time restrictions we only had one female contestant and she was wearing a black cat costume. This cute girl tried her best to remove the outer tube patiently, but despite her good attitude she was unfortunately not the fastest.

The Funny Moment

The funniest game was the relay race on small children bikes. Contestants grouped in teams of three and had to crouch their long legs and their body so to sit on the tiny three wheeled bikes. Everybody tried to ride as fast as they could and some very awkward cycling poses were created, the audience and contestants could not help but to laugh.

The Colorful & Shining Moment

The last game was the person & bike beauty competition, all contestants lined up on the stage together with their bikes. Each person was to be regarded as a model and there bike was a model too. The different colors and the different poses made a shining impression on the stage.

The Happy Moment

After the Mini Fixed Gear Revolution games finished, Ines Brunn manager and founder of Natooke did a small beautiful performance on her trick bike. Then suddenly all of the Natooke team joined in for a Natooke version of “Gangnam Style”, soon after, other friends and audience joined in to dance as well. Everyone was so happy and excited.

Prize Presentation

The bike polo champions received the convenient and smart Dutch Fendor-Bendor 3 foldable fenders. The winners of the penalty shooting game received Toyo fixed gear hubs and Donen cycling clothes. The track stand winners received Swiss Ribcap helmet caps, Respro Techno anti-pollution masks and Donen cycling clothes. The speed inner tube changing champions received American Freedom Thickslick tires for urban use. German ABUS U-mini locks were handed over to the happy winners of the child bike relay race. The contestants from the person and bike beauty competition who were best matching their bikes received Australian Crumpler messenger bags.

After a great afternoon high with energy and happiness, everybody began the ride back home. Awaiting what was to come from the next events organised by the fabulous Natooke team. See you at the next one!

25/11  2pm > 自行车马球 @ 工人体育馆西门 – BIKE POLO @ Worker’s Gymnasium West Gate 活动将在下午两点开始，在工体西边。教练汤姆会依照天气来决定活动进程。 如果天气寒冷和有大雨的情况话，马球活动取消。 如果下过了雪但天气晴朗的话，会有马球。 总之，冷天和雨天没有马球。雪天或是下过雪，将会有雪天马球。 We will start at 2 pm on the west side of the Workers’ Gymnasium. The bike polo coach Tom wants to point out the decision process about the weather: If it is cold and moderate or heavy rain, there is NO polo. If it has snowed and it is clear, there will be POLO. If it is snowing, there will be POLO. If it has snowed and it is snowing, there will be POLO. To summarize: Cold and moderate or heavy rain — > NO polo. Snow of any kind, on the ground or coming from the sky — there IS SNOW POLO !

24/11 & 25/11 > 北京国际高端运动自行车展览会 @ 北京老山 – LAOSHAN BIKE RACE AND EXHIBITION @ Laoshan 为期两天的车展和比赛都是在户外进行，请大家多穿些衣服，注意保暖。11月24日的展览从上午9点开始，下午4点半结束。当天会有一些公路车的比赛，从上午9点半开始，下午点4点20结束。11月25日的展览从上午9点开始，下午4点结束。当天会有一些山地车的比赛，从上午9点半开始，下午2点半结束。请大家安排好自己的时间。如果你想观看比赛或是想到其它自行车展位那儿看一看的话，可以到NATOOKE来领入场券。 温馨提示：如果有顾客想来找NATOOKE的人员的话请在25日来，因为24日（周六）我们的人都在“死飞小革命”那儿。 Please wear warm clothes as this is an outdoor event. The exhibition on Nov. 24th will start at 9:00am and end at 4:30pm while the road bike races will start at 9:30am and end at 4:20pm. The exhibition on Nov. 25th will start at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm while the mountain bike race will start at 9:30am and end at 2:30pm. You can come to Natooke shop to get as many entry tickets as you need so you can watch the races or have a look at the various bicycle brands that have their booth at Laoshan bike exhibition. Natooke of course also has a booth at the exhibition. Reminder: On Saturday do not expect many Natooke staff at Laoshan as most of us will be at the Mini Revolution. 1/12 & 2/12 > 没有自行车马球 – NO POLO 在12月1日和12月2， 我们的马球教练和三名NATOOKE的马球队员会在台湾参加高雄自行车马球赛。我们在这两天没有自行车马球活动。 There will not be bike polo as the polo coach and 3 Natooke polo teams will be in Taiwan for the Kaohsiung bike polo cup.

6/12  8pm > 巨脏“圣诞老人”骑行活动 @ NATOOKE – BIG DIRTY SANTA COSTUME RIDE @ Natooke 你听说过圣尼古拉斯吗？它是一个纪念一位圣人的节日。在每年的12月6日这天，“圣尼古拉斯老人”身穿红色的斗篷，给小朋友们分发一些小玩意儿，有点儿像圣诞老人。很多欧洲国家的人都知道这个节日。这次的巨脏自行车骑行打算组织一次圣诞老人骑行活动。每个人都穿上圣诞老人的衣服，骑着单车穿梭在北京的大街小巷。不需要骑得多快，但肯定很有趣。 （大家在NATOOKE 集合，不要求自带服装，我们可以一起骑到一个有卖这种衣服的地方在那儿再买。） Have you heard of St. Nicholas? It is a day to honor a saint who dressed in a red cape and gave lots of stuff to children. A little bit like Santa Claus. Every year it is on December 6th, mostly known in Europe. Big Dirty is organizing a costume Santa ride. That means we together go and each buy a Santa Claus costume, wear it and ride around Beijing. It will not be a fast ride, but sure a funny ride. Meet up at Natooke (not required to have a costume, as we will ride together to a place where they sell them).

8/12  10:30am > “铁驴”维修专题讲座 @ NATOOKE – IRON HORSE SEMINARS @ Natooke 12月8日周六这天早上会安排自行车维修讲座。此次的专题由参与者来定。如果你想学习如何维修或是想学习如何保养你的车子的某个零部件，乱炖老师都会教大家。可能这节课是新年前的最后一次课，希望大家能来的话就来听课吧。 Another Saturday morning bike repair session. Topic will be decided dependent on the participants. So if you want to know how to repair or maintain a certain part of your bike Brandon will teach you. This might be the last one before the New Year so come if you can.
