01/20 2:00pm – Bike Polo with CCTV @ Workers Gymnasium West Gate

As usual on Sunday at 2pm we meet up for polo, no matter if there are a few snow flakes. We know hitting a ball will warm us up. This Sunday there will be a CCTV film crew coming to watch and film. The CCTV documentary started to film around the time we were planning and organizing the Mini Revolution. They need more footage of the Natooke regular events. If you do not play polo you can just come by and do some bike tricks.

PARAZITA KUSOK 2 is a graffiti street artist sticker book. This stickers are made by 77 famous graffiti artists of Russia, Ukraine and other countries. 31/12 8:00pm >跨年倒计时 @世贸天阶— New Year’s Count Down @ THE PLACE 晚上8点在NATOOKE集合，我们会有很长时间的骑行狂欢活动，途径王府井、长安街、故宫、西单，最后回到朝阳门，找地方暖和暖和，喝喝咖啡。大概在11点半的时候我们会到世贸天阶，到时候大家可以自由活动，等待午夜倒计时。最后，我们会在一起合影，记录下跨年的精彩时刻！ We are going on a big ride this New Year’s Eve! Come to Natooke at 8pm as we cover Wangfujing, Changan boulevard, the Forbidden City, Xidan  and then to Chaoyangmen for a break and warm up with drinks or coffee. To celebrate the new beginning, we took photos at Tiananmen Gate and the Forbidden City. Along the way, we also hung out with a pair of homeless but optimistic father and child at the Wangfujing church. It was a night of riding, joy and kindness.

平安夜“平安派对” Christmas Eve Party 这是一个充满温暖、充满欢笑、充满乐趣的平安夜！ 抽奖游戏：有人抽到了苹果，有人抽到了杯子。“一辈子平平安安”，这是一份最美好的祝愿。 骑行路线：NATOOKE商店→王府井→三里屯→鼓楼。骑行路上，是谁摔了一跤，惹得大家直笑；又是谁的车扎胎了，大家凑齐了工具帮他换胎。 It was a warm and funny Christmas Eve. During the night ride, one of the riders got a flat but fortunately, with the help and bits and bobs that the riders had on, they managed to change the tube together and made it to the bar with pockets full of booze! For the “White Elephant” gift exchange, Kong Ge coincidentally got Pony’s apple while Pony got Kong Ge’s cup. What?! In Chinese, an apple and a cup represent a lifetime of peace…

Duncan & Gloria欢送会 Duncan & Gloria Goodbye Party 我们的员工Duncan 顺利结束了在北京的实习工作，NATOOKE所有员工的御用英语老师Gloria也将要去英国学习，所以，他们两位以后不能继续在NATOOKE帮忙了。上周四 （12月19日）下雪的那天晚上大家在NATOOKE商店为他们举行了欢送派对。感谢Duncan 和 Gloria对NATOOKE所做的一切。无论以后他们在哪里，我们都祝福他们，祝福我们的两位朋友永远身体健康、开心地生活并享受精彩的人生！ Duncan has completed his internship in Beijing and is heading to Australia. Gloria is going to London for her post graduate studies. It’s a shame that we won’t be seeing them at Natooke anymore. We had a farewell party last week on a snowy Thursday night. We wish them all the best and look forward to their return!

“铁驴”维修专题讲座—上期回顾 IRON HORSE Seminar

有位女孩儿的车子刹车不好用了，她带着车子来到店里，正好赶上了我们刚刚开始的新活动“开放工作营”。 乱炖老师和其它来听课的人把注意力都集中在如何修好她的车闸上面来。经过仔细检查，找出问题在快拆杆那儿块。于是，他们把快拆杆拆开，更换垫片、调整好垫 片位置。最终，前后的快拆杆都被修好了，车闸也可以正常工作了。

One of our participants came with a broken quick release which affected the braking system of the bike. Brandon guided our participants in disassembling the quick release and changing and adjusting the position of the washer. Problem solved!
