Last saturday we brought you ‘Bike to Beer’ in our vibrant, bustling hutong. We had a small table set up inside where people could bring in their old bike bits n’ peices and trade them with other cyclists/people accompanied by a keg of JingAs flaming fist pale ale (their most popular craft beer) After our event a group of us biked over to JingA brewery to celebrate their ‘Baijiu Beer Launch’ – The verdict? BBQs are key to a great summer and boy have we had our fair share. We biked 20km out of the city and to a beautiful spot beside the river  just so we could enjoy the peaceful sounds of the countryside whilst munching down on some juicy bbq’d skewers.

Three chirpy interns have come and gone but their spirit lives on within all the hard yards they put in for us here at Natooke. We had a traditional chinese BBQ to celebrate Frachelle, Teleisha and Tylers one month internship here. It was spicy but just the way we like it. We had Master Liu on the BBQ, but all in all it was a team effort – just what we like! Bring on the next lot.
