BBQs are key to a great summer and boy have we had our fair share. We biked 20km out of the city and to a beautiful spot beside the river  just so we could enjoy the peaceful sounds of the countryside whilst munching down on some juicy bbq’d skewers.

Three chirpy interns have come and gone but their spirit lives on within all the hard yards they put in for us here at Natooke. We had a traditional chinese BBQ to celebrate Frachelle, Teleisha and Tylers one month internship here. It was spicy but just the way we like it. We had Master Liu on the BBQ, but all in all it was a team effort – just what we like! Bring on the next lot.

Last weekend we had a lovely chap come into the shop and design a little something that really suited his style. Friday was the day. It was hot, we were hot, but nonetheless we powered through and did what we do best. We rode.

‘Huairou Mountain Resort’ was the place and it did not disappoint with a pool, tasty food and a beautiful scenenic route to and fro. We had set ourselves up with a perfect day of relaxation and it was well earned! We started early, 7am here at Natooke and reached our destination just before noon – Just in time for lunch, leaving us with a whole afternoon of holiday like leisures!
