Our friend Devin has been a huge supporter of ours for years now.  Our first customer, he has since followed up and purchased not only another touring bike, but most recently one for his girlfriend as well.

Anyone who’s spent time in the saddle knows that logging time on the bike by yourself can get a little lonely.  Sometimes you found yourself out in the middle of nowhere yearning for any conversation.  What better conversation can be had than that with your partner?

This sweet new bike also made for an awesome anniversary gift.  Devin’s girlfriend Anna has always slogged out their weekend bike packing trips in the hills north of Beijing on an old clunker.  Barely rideable, she still managed to keep up with Devin on the inclines as the two explored the expanses of the mountains.

But now Anna’s got her own ride.  Not only is it a huge step above and beyond her old whip, but suffering it out on her old bike made her all the stronger of a rider.  When they stopped through Chengdu to pick up the bike we had a chance to do some riding with the couple and this much can be said:  Devin’s got his exercise cut out for him, because she is fast.

More importantly, when he’s not struggling her to chase down, this couple and their pair of companion bikes have many a mile to keep each other in good company.  Here’s to taking love on a lap around the world!
