Rainy Season Riding

412-08376quanjing

Chengdu’s summer rains have started.  Now, a lot of people thinks this makes riding more of a chore, but with the right gear and the right attitude you can keep on biking.  Here’s how.

1. Fenders

If you haven’t got them, then you’re in luck.  We have a variety of fender options that work with most bikes.  Fenders are the first step to staying dry.  Check out what we’ve got on offer:

2.  Waterproof Baggages

Typically when you ride from A to B it’s important you show up dry, or can someone how dry off when you arrive.  A waterproof bag does the trick.  Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little wet on the ride but carry an extra set of things to change into when you arrive.

We’ve got just the thing.  Both waterproof Sealline bags and LKLM panniers.

3.  Just Go For It

People tend to shy away from getting wet but there’s nothing wrong with it.  It’s a great way to stay cool while riding and wet weather tends to scare away others from riding, leaving you with more room on the road to ride.  Not to mention it naturally gives your bike a wash each time you go for a ride!

So get out.  Get wet.  Have fun!
