The FNR is always free.

We don’t charge any sort of fee for people to participate in the FNR.  You don’t have to pay for entry, register, or join a club.  Just show up and ride.

As a small business, we hope you enjoy the ride enough to show us some sort of support.  Stop in early for a cold beer, pick up a shirt, buy a bike or just tell your friends all about us.  Without your support we can’t continue to organize great rides!

We ride no matter what.

The only time we will cancel the FNR is if it is actively raining and shows no sign of stopping.  If it’s hot, cold, windy, hazy, etc. do your best to prepare for the conditions because it won’t stop us!

Anyone’s welcome.

The idea is simple.  Anyone with a bicycle that wants to join is free to do so.  This is the only thing that matters!

The ride leaves at 20:00.

The FNR is like a train leaving the station: On time.  Be sure to be here before 8 p.m. to make sure you leave with us.  We will not wait for people that are running late!

The FNR is easy.

Expect to ride between 10 and 15 kilometers or about an hour and a half at a leisurely pace.  This is not a race!  If you don’t feel like you’re the fast person in the world, that’s just fine.  With the number of riders, the music and the route it’s difficult to get lost.

The ride starts and finishes at Natooke as well. If you happen to lose the group, then you can either ride directly back to the shop or go your own way.  The ride not only starts at but finishes at Natooke as well.

There is no set route.

To make the ride more interesting we never have a set route.  We try our best to switch things up and introduce our friends to new areas of town.  We have a few go-to roads and areas we like riding, but we do not publish a map of where we’re going in advance of the ride.

Safety matters.

We don’t want to do anything to put our friends at risk.  We do everything we can to keep everyone together and guide them safely through the city while obeying all appropriate traffic laws. Please don’t do anything reckless to endanger yourself or others around you.

We rent bikes.

So you really want to join but just haven’t got a bike?  That’s ok.  Our shop offers several bikes for hire.  Please call the shop at (028) 8504 2450 the day of the ride to reserve a rental.
Rentals are for a full 24 hours.  If you hire a bicycle you can use it the entirety of the following day at no extra charge. A single rental is ¥100 with a ¥500 security deposit.

The FNR is incredibly fun.
