The next countryside ride in the docket is fast approaching.  Mark your calendars for July 23rd.  Our upcoming countryside ride will take us from Taiping Temple to Shijing Temple located at the far end of Longquan.  Be sure to register!

gain, expect roughly 70 kilometers.  The ride will start atop a mountain ridge.  There will be several short hills over the course of several kilometers before beginning the descent to the south and east of Longquan.  From there it’s rolling country roads, farms, and several reservoirs before arriving in Jiajiazhen.  After which we’ll turn back towards the mountains, finishing up just below the start of the climb leading back toward Chengdu.

This route is approximately 70km. We’ll organize vehicles to take us out to the start and bring riders back to Natooke from Taiping after lunch. We’ll meet at 7:30 a.m. and depart Natooke at 8 a.m. sharp.

To join for this ride you must register in advance. You can either register at Natooke or via WeChat. The cost is RMB¥240. If you need to rent a bicycle, please add RMB¥100. You must register by July 20th.

The ride will continue as planned despite the weather.  Only in the event that the weather poses a safety risk to participants will the ride be cancelled.

That said, get ready for a month of great riding and exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding Chengdu!
