Come along with our shop manager as we get out of Beijing. We will be setting a medium pace and any type of bicycle is welcome to come. We got the tools but prepare some water and bring spare inner tubes. The ride will be a bit over 100km but will be well worth the effort as we march through some beautiful countryside.
The ride is this Friday and we will be meeting up at the shop at 9am, prepare for a fullish day of riding with a break halfway.

A Natooke bike will be heading off to Uganda, the place where we got our name. This is no ordinary bike either with its full on Uganda flag colour style. It will be rocking the gentle slopes in no time at all. That basket was recently added on to create more comfort in the back and a few more green bananas in the front!
We have a newish Flying Banana black and red bike up for grabs. It has been ridden around Beijing for a couple of months but has to go up due to financial strains on the owner. Not that that is your concern, but this sweet ready to go bike should be!

It got tasty on Saturday with the Eat Local Ride we had. We were out finding hidden local gems and boy did we find them! The donkey burgers made famous in the HeBei province was the crowd favourites but they all went down a treat.
We were lucky enough to have a student studying out in Liaoning province come over to the shop to rent a bike for the weekend. Sure it’s a long way to the Great Wall from the store, but it is worth the effort biking out. A nice route, taken during the week with little traffic, can be a dream especially out at the Huanghua section of the wall.
Not to sound cheesy but live a little and see something incredible!
