21/06 7:30pm > 自行车骑行与音乐节 @ 钟鼓楼 BIKE RIDE AND MUSIC DAY @ Drum and Bell Tower 让我们先集合然后轻松休闲骑行30分钟到1个小时然后冲到鼓楼享受各种各样的免费音乐。如果你厌烦了音乐你也可以在鼓楼广场上练习技巧。让我们一起享受自行车和音乐还有北京的夏天吧！不论你是新人还是老手，一起来吧！以下是更多音乐节的信息： 无需再怀疑！世界上最富盛名的法国音乐文化节即将于6月21日首次登陆北京！ “夏至音乐日”于每年6月21日在全球五大洲超过一百个国家同时举行。如今，这个音乐狂欢节终于在中国的首都──北京落户，并将为我们带来精彩绝伦的第一届 夏至音乐日！ 夏至音乐日2012年的大本营设在鼓楼。有近三十场演出在鼓楼一带十余个演出场地期待你的光临，所有演出免费！！！ 6月21日6.30点开始。整整一晚，它将以丰富多变的音乐风格——摇滚、雷鬼、嘻哈、爵士、电音等震撼整个街区！一场场风格迥异的音乐会将在鼓楼一带上演。从最私密的空间到最劲爆的场面，十余个演出地点期待你的光临！ 丰富的演出为你带来一场听觉盛宴！ Let us meet up and do a 30min to 1 hour easy fixed gear ride and then blast into the Gulou area to listen to various music bands for free. And if you are tired of music after a while you can always hang out on the Gulou square and do some skidding or other fixed gear tricks. Let us hang out with bikes and music and enjoy Beijing summer no matter if you just got a bike or have been riding for years! Below are some more details about the Music Day: The “Fête de la Musique”, celebrated each year on June 21st worldwide, makes its debut in Beijing in 2012! It celebrates the Summer Solstice through music. In Beijing, on June 21st, from 6:30 pm till late, the district of Gulou will be taken over by the sound of live music. Come along to experience this momentous event and get the chance to listen to rock’n’roll, dub step, reggae, blues, jazz, electro with bands. The gigs will take place in the best bars that Gulou has to offer, from more intimate venues to electrifying stages. Entrance is free in every venue !

23/06 & 24/06 4pm > 自行车马球 @ 工人体育馆西门 BIKE POLO @ Worker’s Gymnasium West Gate 周五的端午节我们就让你休息一天吧，周六和周日下午4点照常打自行车马球。到时候也许会有新的球杆让新手和老手都能玩的更爽。如果你不知道在哪里和怎么去那么就3点30分在在Natooke商店集合吧！ We will give you a day off for Dragon Boat Festival on Friday but play bike polo as usual at 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday. There might be new mallets for even more fun for beginners and advanced. Meet half an hour before at Natooke if you do not know how to get there!

骑在旧金山 Cycling in SF

伊泉刚从旧金山回来。那么一个自行车迷在那边会做些什么呢？当然是骑车！她只能从北京带走一辆自行车，而她带走的是技巧表演车，所以她的朋友借给了她一辆自行车在旧金山使用。这台小小的折叠车肯定不是用来在一个有雾又有风的日子里去攀登旧金山双子峰的最佳选择，但是还是很好玩。对死飞玩家来说，山地车的避震悬挂感觉很陌生但是海滨城市真的很适合骑车。当然伊泉也进行了一些表演，比如在旧金山湾。

Ines had been in San Francisco. And what does a convinced cyclist do there? Of course cycling! She could only bring 1 bike from Beijing and so she chose to bring her trick bike. So friends gave her bikes to use in SF. The small foldable bikes were not the best to ride to the top of SF Twin Peaks on a foggy and windy day but it was still super fun. For a fixed gear rider the sponginess of suspension on a mountain bike might be strange but Marin county is just amazing for cycling. Of course Ines also did some performances for example in the SF bay.

旧金山的车店和马球！ SF Bike Shops and Polo

伊泉当然也拜访了很多旧金山的自行车酷店。当她走进MASH车店的并且说到她在中国有一家车店的时候，Mike Martin立刻说到“伊泉你好，见到你太好了！”。能在世界各地有这么多酷酷的朋友真是太好了。另外DZR公司兼容SPD的都市锁鞋也在蓬勃发展着。那里也有一场自行车马球正在举行，很多很棒的车手都在玩。

Ines of course went to all of the cool bike shops in San Francisco. When she stepped into the MASH Transit store and said she has a bike shop in China, Mike Martin right away said ‘Hi Ines, great to see you!”. It is nice to have so many cool friends around the world. Also the DZR company  is blooming with their great SPD compatible shoes for urban cycling. There was also a bike polo game going on with loads of good cyclists.

不是只有明星名人来Natooke玩，我们最近也有很多酷访客。比如职业自行车足球运动员也来Natooke玩，还教了我们的朋友如何用自行车踢足球。而且Fred小龙回北京来看我们了！

Not only do we often have stars and celebrities drop by Natooke, also other cool visitors have been here lately. For example a professional bicycle soccer player has been dropping by Natooke the past week and teaching our friends how to play bicycle soccer. And Fred is back in Beijing visiting us!

如果你正奇怪为什么最近没收到我们的信，那是因为我们正在非常非常非常繁忙的为我们的客人组装自行车呢！这些酷人也都成为了Natooke的朋友。我真是超爱这些又复古又经典又靓丽斑斓的车子。我们也会在我们的网站上传更多照片。

If you wonder why you have not been receiving newsletters from us every week the reason is we are busy busy busy building bikes for our cool customers that soon become Natooke friends. I love the variety from classy beautiful to expressive colorful. We will soon post more pictures on our website…

旧金山酷车 Cool SF Bikes

当然在别的地方也有酷车，比如旧金山。这台蓝色老虎自行车就非常有创意。能见到Zack真是太好了，他打造了北京的两台竹子自行车，这台奥克兰竹子城市沙滩车也棒极了。

Of course there are also cool bikes in other places, like San Francisco. The blue tiger bike is very creative. It was really nice to meet Zack again who made 2 of Beijing’s bamboo bikes and see his nice Oakland bamboo city cruiser.
