非常抱歉，我们店里从7月份到现在挺忙的了 – 没有发了邮件给你。当然，有很多活动，只是没有时间去写。 We are sorry that we have been so busy since July that we had to time to send out any newsletters to you. Of course there were many events going on, just no time to write about them. 以下是即将发生的事件：Here are the upcoming events: 19/09 10:00pm > 叶希河(Sara)自行车骑行活动 @ NATOOKE商店 – Goodbye Ride with Sara @ Natooke Shop 朋友们，我在北京开始爱骑自行车了。这是因为我要回国以前想跟你们都骑自行车。我们明天晚上22点钟在Natooke见面，然后到奥林匹克森林公园骑自行车。 我很希望你们明天都来跟我享受夜景，骑车和看星星。 今天见吧！叶希河 Dear friends, Beijing has always been linked to bikes and cool rides with great people to me. So before I fly back to Europe I would love to go for a night ride around the Olympic forest with all of you. Let’s seize these nights of clear skies and stars. 22/09 & 23/09 4pm > 自行车马球 @ 工人体育馆西门 – BIKE POLO @ Worker’s Gymnasium West Gate 周六和周日下午4点照常打自行车马球。如果你不知道在哪里和怎么去那么就3点30分在在Natooke商店集合吧！ As usual there will be bike polo, on Saturday and Sunday. If you do not know where it is, then please come to Natooke by 3:30pm.

22/09 > SERK 极速PK和金西打苹果啤酒发布派对- SERK JISU PK Party and Gold Cider Launch @ Serk Serk:请在的日历本上记下本周六的活动（9月22日）， 在Serk空间有金西打苹果啤酒和极速PK活动。他们举办一个金西打苹果啤酒在北京的发布活动， 同时穿上你的极速PK服装来玩吧。 你可以与你的朋友，敌人，情人来比一比，还可以赢得Serk提供得金西打苹果啤酒和swiftcarbon的奖品。活动下午3点开始到晚。 早来可以有金西打买2送1（3pm－ 5pm）， 并报名参加极速PK.如果你不熟悉极速PK，可以在优酷上看到here。 非常好玩， 任何人都可以参加。 Serk: Mark this Saturday (22nd Sept) afternoon down in your calender. Cider and Cycling will be on the menu at Serk ! They will host a party to launch the tasty Gold Cider in Beijing and bring out our JISU PK cycling kit for some serious bike fun. JISU PK will be set up at the back of the shop –  race your friend, foe or that hottie at the bar for Gold Cider & prizes from Swift Carbon. The event kicks off at 3pm and runs till late. Come early for 2 for 1 cider (3pm – 5pm) and registration for the JISU PK. If you are new to JISU PK check it out on Youku here. Its a fun event that anyone can participate in.

26/09 8:00pm > 自行车骑行活动 @ NATOOKE商店 – Ride with David @ Natooke Shop 下个星期还有一个骑行活动 Next week there will be another ride, this one organized by David, but not a goodbye ride.

NATOOKE会想念宗力威 – Natooke will miss Dupree! 连同他的女朋友，他会去美国留学。为此，他需要做好准备。因此，他不得不停止在商店工作。我们已经错过了他！我们祝愿他一切美好的未来！ Dupree will go to USA with his girlfriend to study. For that he needs to prepare. He had to stop working at Natooke. We already miss him! It was late at night, and a rare time in Beijing where there are no cars on the road, save for the night shift taxi drivers and the few people returning home from working overtime at their jobs. This makes riding a bike so much easier and enjoyable when one does not have to battle constantly for position on the overcrowded city streets. It was quiet, I could hear the hum from my tires and my fixed-gear drive-chain was ticking steadily as always. I was alone for the moment and experienced yet another rare occurrence in China, solitude. In this moment I felt relaxed for I had no worries other than making sure my wheel was pointed straight and I pushed each pedal down when its turn came. This relaxation quickly changed to full on excitement as I came over the bridge that follows the Fifth Ring Road and around the corner at the top because as I was descending the short way down to the service rode I saw the largest collection of bikes that I have seen in Beijing so far. I can only describe it as mesmerizing as I struggled to focus on what was happening. There were bikes of every color of every size and they all had blinking lights that looked like red, white, and blue stars that had fallen from the sky. As I came closer the excitement only grew, and by the time I got to the group I didn’t want to stop riding, I wanted to break out in a full sprint right there. I could tell that this night was going to be special. … … …
