Now, the first official state-sponsored fixed gear race is in the books.

The track is simple and has no sharp curves.
One circuit measures 2.5 kilometers and the road is smoother-than-butter asphalt.
At its widest, the track is 14 meters and 7 meters at its narrowest.
Take Metro Line 2 to Chengdu International Intangible Culture Station. Leaving the station take Exit B.
Follow the road east. You’ll arrive at the main entrance.

1. Fixed gear bicycle required
2. On the course a helmet must be worn at all time
3. No skidding to slow, drift, stop suddenly. If a rider skids for any reason the organizer reserves the right to expel a rider from the race
4. Any action that threatens other riders’ security is strictly prohibited. The organizers reserve the right to expel any racer for any foul play or dangerous riding
5. Clipless pedals or toe clips with the matching shoes are required
6. No excessively small or large gear ratios are allowed. Organizers recommend suggest a 3.3:1
7. Bicycles must appropriately fit their riders
8. 700c wheels, front and rear required. The rear must use a fixed gear hub.
9. Drop bars required. Any other handlebar type including bullhorns, risers, etc. are strictly prohibited.
10. No brakes allowed. You are allowed to leave installed a brake lever, but calipers and cables are strictly prohibited.
11. GoPro or other like type video cameras must be mounted on your helmet, handlebar or seat tube.
12. No extra accessories or components are allowed on your bike. Please check your bike in advance to prevent critical component failures of any kind.
13. Make sure your bike has been built properly and all components are installed correctly.
Organizers will check every racers’ bike beforehand to insure safety and reserves the right to cancel any racers’ entry without refund if the rider or his/her bicycle is found in error of the above rules.
