There’s an old saying. You can’t afford to buy anything cheap. The meaning is very straightforward. The extra cost of maintaining, fixing and regularly replacing some cheap broken thing is greater than just spending the extra on something of quality from the start.

There’s ways to cut costs and reduce your own impact. For one, look into recycling or buying something second-hand. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. People are constantly buy new and better things, discarding the old. But oftentimes the old is in terrific condition and can be re-used.
Natooke is a big supporter of this. For starters we only sell quality stuff. We refuse to sell anything that is below a certain standard. Why? Because its wasteful. We build bikes that last and offer the service to support that. If you truly can’t afford new quality stuff we do our best to offer great second-hand offerings.
These two “new” bikes for instance were built largely from a selection of used stuff. What once was considered nothing but junk, is now someone’s key to the city. With locks, lights, and everything else you need to enjoy your bike life, these bikes both cost under ¥1500.
Swing by our shop and see what kind of quality bike we can put you on today. New or used, with a good bike you won’t regret your choice tomorrow or years later when you’re still riding.
