Anniversary Brai!
Call it a brai, barbecue, grill out or just a good ol’ fashioned street party featuring hot meats, be sure not to miss Saturday. Why? Here’s why!
Beers! Our old friends at Hugo’s have offered a congratulatory keg and we’ll be serving it up, first come first serve.
Barbecue!Natooke will have a selection of meat and veg on offer for the early-comers. Thanks to our friends at Beer Nest for lending us a big ol’ grill, we’ll be able to cook up a variety things in a relatively quick amount of time.
Grilling begins at 4 p.m. so if you plan on showing up past 5 p.m. we recommend bringing a little something of your own. We’ll keep the grill going til 8 p.m.
Games! We’ve got a whole list of carnie games to keep our friends entertained. Enter to win any number of useful bike bits and bobs to carry home as a sweet little anniversary souvenir.
Music!Starting at 7 p.m. we’ve hired a string quartet to play some live music. Expect four sets, 25 minutes each of classical music and some quirky covers. Why classical? Because! As bicyclists we like things the old fashioned way, and not to mention: What other party are you going to catch a live quartet!
After all this we’ll still be going. Whether you can only make it for the afternoon or later in the evening be sure to stop in and say hi. Remember, these five years are all thanks to you and that’s what this party is all about!
Schedule of Events:
4 p.m. Grill’s on. First come, first serve. First beer’s on us!
5 – 8 p.m. Still grilling, but at this point expect to bring your own grill-ables.
7 p.m. Live string quartet.
9 p.m. Party on! We’ll keep kicking it as long as friends are around.
