BRING YOUR OWN CHOPSTICKS WHEN YOU GO OUT TO EAT

Eating in restaurants two times a day, one person will waste 60 pairs of disposable chopsticks per month. Even if the wood is recyclable material, to transform the waste costs a huge amount of energy and you cannot make new chopsticks from the used ones.
You can easily find good quality reusable chopsticks in many shops in Beijing and carrying them around does not take a lot of space.

CARRY YOUR OWN BOTTLE FOR WATER OR OTHER DRINKS AND REFILL IT WHEN IT'S EMPTY

This is another big daily waste of resources. You can fill your bottle with hot or cold water nearly anywhere in Beijing and all offices and private apartments usually have a drinking water dispenser.
If you come to visit our shop with your empty bottle, we will refill it for free no questions asked :)

RIDE BIKES OR USE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION INSTEAD OF TAKING CABS

This is not only a better action for environment, but (especially during the daytime) can help you save a lot of time and money. in the past few years the number of private cars has dramatically increased the rising the level of pollution in Beijing, and makes traffic jams a daily event that slows down the whole transportation system. On the other side, Beijing is a perfect city for riding a bike. no hills (except for a very rare case) and a large biking lane.
